I began by selecting ten favorites of 2008. I had difficulty narrowing it down from there. So I got help. I asked my partner Julia what she thought. She thought the nature scenes nice, but not sufficiently unusual. Okay, maybe the Grand Canyon is quite spectacular and 'unusual', but many fine photos have been made of it, so many better than those I have which perserve my memories of the experience. The one with the bridge, nice sunrise, but she thought those not knowing of Yuma history would find the Ocean to Ocean bridge a distraction to the sunrise. But the serenading violinist, that's something not everyone would have seen or photographed.
