Bride of Chaos

(from my journal:)
My mind is so busy with thoughts this morning. I only laid in bed a short while before those thoughts got me up and exploring. I wanted an interesting person to draw. I took to Wikipedia and had a look-see at Crowley. There's an intriguing enough portrait of a man rather big for his britches, (psychically). But I found a page linked off of his, to one of his rare associations with a woman, in which he might have actually respected her intelligence and individuality. Leah Hirsig played some part in his initiation.

From there, I found a photo in the public domain. It fascinates me:

There's no explanation of the paintings behind her, did she create them? I did find in a Thelemic article on her, that she considered herself "the bride of Chaos". Ah, Chaos has many brides....

This, plus two other recent pieces are now available in quality photo lustre prints
