Life Seeking a Form
March 9, 2007

This has been certainly influenced by a book I am s-l-o-w-l-y working my way through, "Dionysos: Archetypal Image of Indestructible Life" by Carl Kerenyi.

In the introduction he explains the difference between zoë and bios, the bios being CHARACTERIZED LIFE, and zoë "is life considered without any further characterization and experienced without limitations."

Then he goes on to discuss Minoan Art, which I investigated further on the web, and that may have also featured in, with its movement and swirly lines and "secret life of nature".

I did not get past page eight before I felt the itch to grab a pen...
