Following links off of one Google result, I ended up at a page with the photo of a man who's visage fascinated me. I thought to myself, "That's a face I have to draw." One thing about drawing people you don't know, is they're not likely to be offended by said image. Unless, of course, they or their beloved does a search and finds the image.

But ya have to take your chances.

I wanted to learn more about this guy with the deep set arresting eyes, and learned "he has become known for his quick temper." However, that doesn't mean he doesn't have his backers. "Time magazine described the 65-year-old as 'perhaps the most adored public servant in the Arab world'," and that "Egyptians like him so much they literally sing his praises."

I'm not sure I captured his likeness very well. (But, yes, the whites of his eyes show underneath his eye, like his eyes are rolling up into his head.) And yes, the man in my picture does look like a man of quick temper and strong opinions.
