Origins

Origins:
that which has the power to know,
complete, sole, in and of itself unique,
arising from the mound,
soon to speak.
Then comes the beginning
of distinctions and divisions.
From the power of knowing
comes a knowing of power.
This knowing becomes complete
when its fulfillment brings scission.
Set regards Horus...
It is a birth of a birth...
He who is source of all power gazes upon The Other.
In the gazing, he becomes Other
Other looks back at Origin
and knows his Source.

This was inspired a bit by 'Pythagorean number mysticism, which John Anthony West speaks of in _Serpent in the Sky_.
(As ever, concepts continually subject to change and revision... ;)
