Tea With The Ancient Spirits
Symbology

The One is sitting, silent, veiled vision. The Other waits expectantly, hand out. And the Oldest One Yet speaks in a language only understood in the Heart of Silence.

I am the one sitting, silent, head upraised, all a wonder. My vision isn't perfect, as revealed by my hair which covers my eyes.
There is something about my stance that may have been inspired by an old picture from 1996, for even that hand holding a taco is now holding a teacup:

The Other waiting expectantly is Sekhmet, the lion headed Goddess, whose lion features are just hinted at with whiskers. She is waiting to bring something into manifest.
The Oldest One Yet has not been drawn in traditional Egyptian appearance, although there are hints of it in his dress and suggestion of squared off ears. Set's hair is wild, suggesting a chaotic nature. (Or humorously, I thought, it looks as though he stuck his finger in an electrical socket. Being the God of Thunder aka Electricity, perhaps he stuck his finger into a 'socket' of his own, like the Navel?) The 'C' for his ears seems to stand for CHAOS as well. Having learned
Set is also the God ruling the back or spine, for even in the Book of the Dead, care of the spine is given to him, I've emphasized his spine, which also has a snake like character.
The plates for the tea cups have on them unfinished pentacles, further suggested things not yet made manifest. The tray of cookies resembles a tic tac toe game in which a win has been made.
The 'X's and 'O's along side the tree also have a symbolic meaning, though not the usual one assigned to them. The 'O' stands for 'zero', or 'Unmanifest'. The 'X' stands for 'Xeper', or that which has been made 'Manifest'.
Also, in case you are mystified, the symbols before them are 'JAL 04', as in 'Joan Lansberry did this in the year 2004', and 'Xeper' should be recognizable enough.
